M is for Mandalorian
M is for Mandalorian – Such a good show, seriously
Regular readers may know that I, Jaanu, am deeply appreciative of any Star Wars movie. Deeply appreciative. When The Rise of Skywalker came out, I grieved, believing it to be the last feature in an era of greatness. “Help me, Disney+!” I thought*, “You’re my only hope!” (Note: I did not think this, but I wish that I had). Fortunately, Star Wars movie-watchers, the journey isn’t over yet. I know I’m late to this particular celebration, but THE MANDALORIAN IS THE GREATEST TV SHOW I’VE EVER SEEN* (Note: Seen lately). With positive, wholesome themes and the cutest Star Wars creation of all time (namely Baby Yoda), this 2-season, 16-total-episode show blows expectations out of the galaxy. If you’re running low on TV recommendations, I recommend this. If you’re not, I recommend this one. With a strong protagonist, and all the requisite numerous subplots, and a strong inclination to adventure, this is the perfect dose of pre-summer Stars Wars. It might not be a traditional film, but it features plenty of jumping to hyperspace, plenty of space piracy, and overwhelming artistry. Star Wars isn’t over!!!! Watch The Mandalorian on Disney+ & tell us what you think! I’d rate this, but there isn’t enough space here for the number of stars I’d place 🙂
