I’m terrible at eating breakfast on school days. My mornings begin too early on school days, so if I’m not studying for a test or doing homework, I’m half-asleep.
Naturally, this doesn’t lend itself to excellent breakfasting. This is where oatmeal comes in.
Fortunately, oatmeal is very easy to make!
Pour water in a pan (like above) and let boil. Then add oats and stir until the mixture thickens. That’s all for the oatmeal! While it is still on the stovetop, add in nuts and seeds if you want. I always have honey and cold milk on top, with sliced strawberries or, at a stretch, blueberries. Get creative! One idea is to add cocoa powder to the water. You can top with chocolate chips and peanut butter! Hmm, I could really go for that…
