One could argue that pancakes are the classic breakfast. With inspiration running low on breakfast dishes 5 months into the year, you may appreciate this quick recipe for pancakes! They’re the ideal weekday morning treat – only 25 minutes to prep and cook! They’re also certified picky-eater-approved!

Start by mixing the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder) together. Then add the milk, water, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly – this mixture should be pretty liquid-y. Expect to see bubbles, but make sure the flour is evenly mixed in. Now is the time for you to add in chocolate chips, or pieces of fruit, in you wish! Heat up a griddle and spread butter on it once it is quite warm. Spread a ladle of batter onto the griddle in a circle shape. Use the hot butter to cook the pancake and flip batter over once the bottom is golden brown. Serve with syrup or fruits!
