With spring comes a wider range of in-season veggies, and a more interesting palate for cuisine. This original take on standard pizza can be as healthy or as indulgent as you want. Plus, it is ideal for quick weeknight dinners, with a 5-minute prep time and 15-minute bake time.

Simply spread the lavash bread with tomato paste and pizza sauce, then top with cheese. Slice up the vegetables of your choice. Add the sliced veggies over the cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at a temperature 350˚F (180˚C). Garnish generously with basil and oregano. That’s it!

Here’s where you can get creative! Experiment.

Try replacing the pizza sauce with homemade basil and tomato sauce. Reduce the amount of cheese and replace standard veggies with broccoli. Try green olives, feta cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Let us know your results!! Email editorjaanu@gmail.com
